Family planning should be easily accessible to all adults of reproductive age, this is essential especially when women want to enjoy their reproductive and sexual rights. Family planning can go a long way in reducing maternal deaths and at some point help improve economic development.
In order for you to get a family planning method it is important that you seek a consultation with a doctor as there is no method that fits everyone’s need, what works for some people may not be effective in others.
There are a number of methods of long term family planning that include:
- Implants 3-5 years – we currently have jadelle (2rods) and implanon (1 rod)
- IUD (commonly known as coil) – A small coil that lasts up to 10 years
It is with this regard that we will be offering free services at our Kencom clinic on 16th October 2015 from 9am to 6pm. If you are not quite sure about the methods that best suites you or have queries regarding family planning then look no further, consultation on family planning will be FREE.
